The Be A Queen Series for teen girls!
"“Do you want to be a princess or a queen?” That is the question each 12–15 year old teen girl must ask. Some girls who are princesses may whine, pout, and walk off in a huff to get their way but other girls who are queens will be reasonable, insightful, and assertive to show their point. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to treat yourself like royalty and choose to become a queen? You can learn how to grow up gracefully as Queen Esther and find out why being a queen is so much better than remaining a little princess. In this study, you will examine how your thinking, speaking and behavior affect all of your relationships with God, family, friends, and romantic interests."
In this book, we define the characteristics of what it means to be a queen, based on I Corinthians 13:4-11 like the example below and we devote a chapter to each one.
"A QUEEN DOES NOT DEMAND HER OWN WAY– She is acutely aware that she is not the only one with needs to consider. She looks to the interests and concerns of others first. She finds ways to serve others and genuinely enjoys being a blessing to those around her without expecting to be noticed. She is an asset at church, school, and home."
Being a queen definitely has its advantages!
Our next book, written for teen girls delves deeply into igniting the teen girl's personal relationship with God.
"So, you may ask, “What is this book about?” It’s all about you and God! Why are you here? Who are you? Where did you come from? Where are you going? What is pain? What is joy? What is abundant life and how do I get it?
This book is about accepting, appreciating, knowing and loving all of yourself as God loves you, so that you can love Him and others as He commands. In order to do what He commands, we need to develop our personal relationship with Him.
Matthew 22:37–40 NIV
Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”…This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
Get ready to have a deeper love for God, yourself, and others as we explore what it is to feel fear, anger, guilt/shame, sadness, joy/happiness, peace, blessing, and gratefulness!"
"What does it mean to be a queen governing a country of one?
It’s as though you have been made the queen over a gorgeous new country. Imagine a large, uninhabited island with mountains, rivers, streams, and lagoons teeming with wild life. Tropical birds call and skirt in flight from tree to tree. The island is full of fruit, berries, wild edible plants, and every kind of good food to eat. The sand is soft, the sky is blue, and a cool breeze floats across the land. It’s perfect. At first, you are the only human living there. As you survey the beauty, you are delighted in the Lord for creating such an awesome place and entrusting it to you.
You fill your days walking along the shore telling Him about how the little monkey you saw this morning was so funny playing in the tree, and how good the fresh mangos are, and how you are building a small hut to sleep in near the lagoon. Sometimes you take long hikes up the mountains where you find a great waterfall for showers, and the rainbow through the mist is so striking, you find yourself singing, “How Great is Our God.” You know God personally through His creation and through your experiences with Him. Your soul, spirit, body, and heart overflow with joy in every way.
You are given the task of knowing the island well, all its potential promise and all its possible problems. The mountains have some sharp cliffs, the rivers are deep and swift, and there may be some dangerous large animals in the wooded areas. Before God brings new people into your country, you must make it ready to share with them, and you must become prepared to govern all who will live here with you. This is your country. It is the one that God has given you to take care of, live on, rule over, defend, and one day share with others. What kind of country will it be?
It will be fantastic! How do we know that? The way you choose to live with others is directly proportional to the relationship you already have with God. Look at the way you fill your days talking with God, singing praises and glorifying Him, trusting Him and enjoying His creation. The way you govern the country of one is the way you will govern a country of many. You are forming the foundation for your future right now. Reign well. Be a queen, country of one."

Teen girls know that they have influence for good or for bad in the lives of others around them through their speech, attitudes, and choices. They see opportunities every day in situations at school, church, home, and with friends. They understand that their choices, when based on the truths of the Bible, expand their world. They have the skills, practice, and confidence for choosing wisdom in their own lives, but they also now have what it takes to influence others to follow their lead. They are part of a community of sisters who have chosen to be queens and support each other.
The premise of this book is to teach teen girls how to work out their salvation in Christ in their own lives and to be the light for others.
